How many directors are required?

Minimum 2 directors and 2 shareholders are required. Both can be the same persons. At least one director must be an Indian resident.

What is the minimum capital required?

There is no minimum paid-up capital requirement. You can start with ₹1 as authorised capital, though ₹1 lakh is standard. Stamp duty depends on the state.

Can a foreign national be a director?

Yes. A foreign national can be a director but one director must be an Indian resident who has stayed in India for at least 182 days in the previous calendar year.

What happens after incorporation?
